Irish Farmer

Jack McTigue pauses after he retied the twine on a bail in a field near his Bangor home Monday afternoon. McTigue – a former accountant – farmed his whole life as a second job and still hays his fields, although he has not had animals for years. “I’m 81 and work every day. I don’t slow down because I’m an Irishman.” McTigue said. He was working on bailing hay as there is rain in the forecast for the next few days.
